Family run and with a relaxed, homely atmosphere, we can accommodate most people, whether you're a family with children visiting Plymouth for a holiday,
or here on business, a warm welcome awaits you. Situated in a quiet road on the edge of the Barbican waterfront area, we are just a couple of minutes from many excellent cafes, bars and restaurants.
A short 10 minute stroll will take you into the city centre where you can shop till you drop in the many well known high street outlets. Alternatively, the West End offers a host of interesting independent retailers, as well as a traditional indoor market.
If you haven't been to Plymouth before you will find that it has so much to offer; the Dartmoor National Park is a short drive away and there are many excellent beaches nearby - after all, Plymouth is the gateway to Cornwall.
We'll try to keep you informed of forthcoming events in and around the city, which may help you decide when to visit.
An early one for your diary is 11th and 12th of August, when Plymouth hosts one of the most spectacular pyrotechnic displays anywhere in the country at the British Fireworks Championships Finals. The best places to watch are from the Hoe and foreshore areas - and BARBICAN REACH is on the Hoe!
The finals are eagerly anticipated by many thousands of people each year - so book your accommodation early!.
Held over two nights, early evening entertainment is followed by displays from 9.30pm onwards, when six leading fireworks companies battle it out to be crowned British Champions.
